Grip Size Infomation

When choosing a racket, the correct grip size is important.

If you are able to come into store, we can help measure up and advice on the best size for you.

If you are not able to come in, below is a chart that can be used to measure which, theoretically, is the best grip size for you.

There is an element of personal preference involved, what you feel comfortable with and what you have used before.

If in doubt, a female player generally uses a grip size 2 and a male player a grip size 3.

Remember you can always make a grip bigger with overgrips and a heat shrink wrap, it is much harder to shave a grip size down!

adidas SoleCourt Tennis Shoes

Glide effortlessly across the tennis court with the adidas SoleCourt Tennis Shoes. A snug fit within the lightweight shoe will keep you in complete control, whilst not holding you back in any way as you quickly cover the ground.

Lightweight Upper

The extremely lightweight construction of the upper will ensure that you are able to glide across the court quickly. This will mean that you won't feel any excessive weight from below, freeing you up to make sharp movements from sudden bursts of pace. In addition to this, air is able to transfer from inside the shoe to the outside. This will mean that as you begin to exercise, the build-up of hot air and sweat within the shoe is able to escape, being transferred out of it. This will mean that your feet will feel fresh in a controlled climate. The upper is designed to fit around the foot to lock it into place. This will mean that your feet will always be in a strong and stable position as you make shot, which will improve your confidence to make shots as you won't be let down by your shoes. Abrasion-resistant Adituff wraps around the toe and medial forefoot to help protect against foot drag that occurs during serves, volleys and extreme lateral movements. The heel is also held in a secure and stabilised position, which will prevent injuries from occurring as well as holding you in a firm position. Up the foot laces and a flat-lying tongue will ensure that you will always be able to find a comfortable, non-restrictive and secure fit.

Boost Midsole

Within the midsole, adidas have used their boost midsole to provide the shoe with supreme cushioning as well as protecting the sole of the feet from shocks and heavy contacts. Towards the bottom of the sole, the EVA used in the boost midsole is extremely firm and strong. This will prevent bumps and shocks from reaching the sole of the foot, which could potentially cause injury or discomfort over the course of a match. In addition to this, the midsole is able to transfer these impacts into energy return. This will mean that you will have a huge amount of energy return helping you go further and faster whilst using less energy. The midsole is softer the higher you go on the midsole. The result of this is supremely soft cushioning on every step that you take. For further comfort and protection, the heel has a moulded counter giving you an anatomical fit.

Adiwear Outsole

The outsole offers you extremely high-wear durability which keep you in control of things on court. The definition and shape of it will not wear down easily, which will mean that the outsole won't let you down over the long-term. The rubber is able to form a solid connection between shoe and court, which means that you will always be in a firm and strong position when playing a shot. The grooves on the bottom are multi-directional, which will assist your control when moving around.
