Grip Size Infomation

When choosing a racket, the correct grip size is important.

If you are able to come into store, we can help measure up and advice on the best size for you.

If you are not able to come in, below is a chart that can be used to measure which, theoretically, is the best grip size for you.

There is an element of personal preference involved, what you feel comfortable with and what you have used before.

If in doubt, a female player generally uses a grip size 2 and a male player a grip size 3.

Remember you can always make a grip bigger with overgrips and a heat shrink wrap, it is much harder to shave a grip size down!

As always if you need more help get in touch with us using our chat box or give us a call.

With the CX 400 Tour, Dunlop combines the raw speed and easy spin of a modern player's racket with a more classic feel. Compared to the CX 200 Tours, this stick has a slightly larger head and thicker beam, giving it a tad more power without sacrificing the outstanding control and feel for which the CX line is known. This racket also packs a 16x19 string pattern along with easy acceleration, making it grippy and whippy enough for loading the ball with spin. In addition to its impressive all-court speed, the CX 400 Tour packs enough stability at net to comfortably redirect higher levels of pace.

Like other members of the 2021 CX family, this racket's great feel comes in part from a couple innovative material technologies. The first is called FlexBooster, which is a thin rubber material in the shaft that dampens harsh vibrations without compromising the crisp and connected feel that is so crucial to control. The other material technology, Sonic Core, lives in the upper hoop, and it softens impact shock with a uniquely flexible substance called Infinergy. This stick also benefits from a PowerGrid StringTech system, which optimizes string spacing to create a more comfortable, spin-friendly and responsive hitting experience. All in all, with the introduction of the 400 Tour, Dunlop has created a worthy addition to the CX line. Intermediate players looking for a speedy all-court weapon with controllable power and above average comfort should add this to their demo list.
