Picking up a frame and swinging it in a shop tells you almost nothing. The only way to know if a racket suits your game is to actually play with it. That's exactly what this service is for.

Come in and browse
Visit us in store and speak to the team. We'll show you what's available in our demo stock and help you narrow things down based on what you're currently playing with and what you're looking for in your next racket. -

Choose up to two rackets
All our demo frames come pre-strung and ready to play — no setup needed on your end. You can take up to two at a time to compare them properly on court. -

Leave a deposit
A deposit equal to the full current sale price of each racket is required before anything leaves the shop. It's held while you have the frame and either put towards your purchase or refunded when you return. -

Test it properly on court
Take the rackets away and hit with them across multiple sessions. One hit can be misleading — a full week gives you the chance to test in different conditions and in the parts of your game that matter most. -

Return within seven days
Rackets must be back within a week and returned in good condition. If a frame isn't returned within that window, we reserve the right to retain the deposit. -

Decide — buy, return, or swap
Buy one of the rackets you tested and your deposit becomes your payment — no demo fee, no extras. Return without buying and we refund your deposit minus £25 per racket tested. Or swap for something else and start another week.

Our demo stock covers a wide range of frames across every price point and play style — and it moves constantly as customers borrow and return. If you're making a trip specifically to try a particular model, it's worth contacting us first to check it's available. Walk-ins are always welcome.
There's no limit on how many rackets you test in total. Come back as many times as you need — just two at a time.

Why test before you commit?
A racket is one of the most personal pieces of equipment in sport. Two players at the same level with the same goals can prefer completely different frames. Specs and reviews are useful starting points — but they can't tell you how a racket feels under your swing, or whether it gives you the confidence to go for your shots.
Early impressions on a new frame can also be misleading. A week of proper court time gives you a much more honest picture than a single session.
