The Extreme returns for 2026 with Hy-Bor — aerospace-grade boron integrated into the graphite layup to create a stiffer, more connected response exactly when you need it.
Aerospace-grade boron fibres woven into the graphite at key structural points. Compressional strength that stiffens the frame on contact — the faster you swing, the more it kicks in.
The graphite layering through the throat and shaft is the technology behind Head's signature feel — energy return without the ping you get from stiffer frames.
Free-moving grommets let the strings snap back further after contact. More string movement on impact means more spin potential on every groundstroke.
Adds lateral stability as the racket travels through a vertical swing path — so you can commit to a full aggressive swing without the frame twisting in your hand.
